103 flowers take a while to bloom

This is an interesting chart because it shows the percent positive in testing. You can see early on they were only testing people who they were pretty sure had the disease (50% positive), it went all the way down to 4% by May 21, reflecting the hard work of April. Since then, it's been on the rise, to 6% now, but the percent isn't rising as quickly as the total number of cases, indicating that yes, there's a lot of spread happening, but also a lot of testing.

This chart tells another story. It is the story of two Californias. One rich and one poor? One red and one blue? One masked and one hatted?

Or, higher restaurant spending is linked to not sheltering-in-place?

This doesn't look so good. Admittedly, they were BLM protests, but still. Data has optics, too.

Ah, logic. Wouldn't that be nice?

You know this Nicer Propaganda headline is to counter some faux news story that is burning up Breitfart.

Had a blast sailing match races with a buddy on Lake Merced yesterday, but it was apparently too much fun for pictures.
