CLJ 85: puzzled by police practices?
Forwarding one of my two free copies of the puzzle journal up to the folks at the Yerba Buena retirement home. (After a quarantine, I hope.)
The Non-Believer Horoscopes are on the internet somewhere. I think FB. Lots of retrogrades happening. Communicate. Wait. Listen. Don't act hastily. Expect to see things differently. Don't try to go over the roadblocks. Make your own detour.
Judgement aside, thousands of dollars in damage aside, "total domination" aside, morals aside, meanness aside, pettiness aside, cleverness aside (seriously, this is a dirty trick, but if you're looking to totally dominate an enemy (a really bad way to look at your fellow citizens) you know someone thought they were clever as hell for coming up with this, even if it might be standard anti-insurgent (another super scary choice of words) playbook...) You know the end result? The exact same end result as most protests: less driving. Stopping traffic. Yes, it sucks, I would be so pissed off. But still, net net, this is ultimately an anti-car move by humans. #SingularityNow
It's interesting that in the battle of carrot vs. stick, when the stick holders got to work, some of the carrot holders want to take the stick's carrots away.
Revealing the carrot might work better after all, huh?
A bastard cop in their own words. (On the internet.)
Freedom of the press? Looks more like freedom to oppress.
This was from the weekend. Wish Deb and I had made it, I've always wanted to walk across the bridge, but traffic is usually so loud.
(Thanks NuHomie)

There is no Antifa. There may be a few people/bots on the internet who call themselves that, and some of them might even mean it, but there is no organization, it's not even thought of as something you belong to. Seriously, it's just a word that means anti-fascist, and it describes this whole movement.
Unsurprisingly, I guess, the fascists don't like it.
