Coronavirus Lockdown Journal Day 83: sitting on a rock by the bay

The traffic on the Richmond-San Rafael bridge isn't as loud, there is no wake from the ferries, and there are very few planes. Those are the leading clues that there's something happening in human world. The seals, pelicans, seagulls, harbor porpoises, and other animals don't seem to give a shit.

Oh wait here comes a ferry. There must be limited service available from Vallejo to the city.

When I set out on this trip, I wasn't sure where I was going or for how long. I was prepared for a couple nights, then I'd need to shop. As it is, I made one night. After I warmed up from my Bay crossing, things got a little rosier. But I think I might need a neoprene top to go with my wetsuit pants.

As for the rest of the world?

Fuck it. Fuck all that noise. And the noisemakers.

In "The Artists Way" Julia Cameron talks about crazymakers. These are people who will suck all of your energy into their chaotic situation. We have been collectively dealing with one for four years. But the only real way of dealing with them is ignoring them, walking away, and shutting them out of your life.
