143 it's extra if you watch
Above is a still from a video my mom shot. She takes a walk everyday down to the water to soak her feet. Like many of us, I'm missing the shit out of her right now.
A friend posted this and it cracked me up, I forget if I've given him a nickname, so we'll call him the Hot Tub Plumber. It's also true about gardening, just maybe not on quite the same billing scale.
Apparently, Solano County is running low on tests, too?
Because they didn't quite get the CDC directive. (Although at this point, sadly, it's a little tough to get upset with anyone who is ignoring the CDC, as they seem to be frequently dragging behind reality.)
Yeah, no. You actually need to be feeling better and have no fever. Because...
Oy, the confusion continues.
How does takeout work when this space is what you're actually selling?
Well...
Not so great.
This is a nice gesture. But what is 2021 going to look like when we owe two years of fees, a year of back rent, and we're still in the middle of a pandemic?
This is a curious headline. Could it be because the CDC is recommending to not get a second test to prove that you have recovered?
Oh. It's because by the time you get your results, you need a new test. Remember all those kids in Georgia who showed up to camp with negative results?
So yeah, while the US may be testing more than anywhere else (a claim which falls apart on a per capita basis, where we're number 3, behind the UK and Russia), we're not testing enough, or quickly enough, to be effective.
(Remember, at the People's House, they test anyone getting close to dear leader, with 15 minute results. Effective testing is possible.)
Like maybe with a simple spit strip? Or how about even a temperature scan before entering a crowded, enclosed space?
Honey, I shrunk the investment portfolio.
To be clear, this is for all the button down boys and high heel girls at their corporate office on Market Street, not drivers. Drivers are stuck with the expired PUA, aka, nothing.
But let's just talk about that $500 for a minute. Uber is giving corporate employees $500 on top of their normal paychecks, because working at home has expenses.
Meanwhile, $600 is way-too-much for the rest of us who aren't receiving any paychecks at all.
Money is funny.
North Carolina won't have us? Florida took back the invitation? That's it, I'm throwing my own party, at my house.
Oh, it's not my house, you say?
It's really not that complicated.
1. Many Chinese people speak Chinese, often with people in China.
2. And that's it.
This ad totally made sense in the meeting, but taken out of context, it's a little, um...
I'm most curious to know what the "frame friendly spacer" is for.
Also, it's only a couple years until VR controls will be a feature on phones. How do I know that? I don't, but watch.
Finally, one more, that involves technology AND boating.
Sailors have been hearing about these GPS crop circles for a while.
And wondering, is this hackers having fun? Or some sort of military exercise?
Or...
Sand and oil smuggling?
Huh.
And for equal airtime, a word from the opposition.
Don't take anything, or anyone, for granted.
Because we the people don't like it.
