171 a tale of two pandemics

On the one hand, we have people who are working from home, and have stopped spending money on eating out, traveling, and theater.

On the other hand, we have the people who used to work at restaurants, in travel, and theater.

This can only go on for so long before the work at home jobs start feeling the squeeze, too.

File under: the fun police

Piano, drums and two horns. This is the sort of things most cities PAY to have in their parks.

Oh, yes, we know it's a pandemic and you haven't been able to work in six months, but don't you know, THERE ARE RULES?!?

Here's one I didn't know.

Pepe is actually a Mission hipster.

Well, I guess another trend started here and, uh...

File under: GET RID OF YOUR GUNS

So this guy, a protestor, stops a fight a couple weeks ago, and gets shot in the arm.
At which point, guy number one either starts or continues to carry a weapon with him.

Then this second guy comes to town with a caravan of fans of dear leader, and may have a paint gun, and may have shot people with it. (As the photo above shows, he at least was around them.)

One thing leads to another, and the first guy shoots the second guy dead.

Then "federal agents" (the report makes sure we know, even though lots of them are local police being coordinated by federal agents) shoot the first guy dead.

A bunch of times.

Long story short, GET RID OF YOUR GUNS.

Here's what the king had to say about this: "When there are shots fired and casualties on both sides, that's civil war."

Meanwhile, in haircutgateville.

Every other public health officer seems to have read about that one salon where the two stylists were sick and wearing masks and nobody got infected but Dr. Grant Colfax.

Yeah, I'd say that 'do looks pretty DIY. Go doctor! Keep us safe, and thank you.

But also, did you hear about that salon where the two people had Covid but nobody got sick?
