191 enjoy your good fortune
Spent the day yesterday (and most of the day before) making this raised vegetable bed. The legs will be buried.
It's cedar. It's not recycled. It looks pretty good, tho.
It definitely cut into the number of screencraps I took yesterday.
But dear leader continued to campaign.
If so, this is one vaccine I definitely won't be taking. In general, I get a flu shot. (I'm looking for one now.) But a rushed vaccine pushed through by executive order? *His* executive order?
Oh hell no.
What exactly does winning look like?
Does it look like stacking the supreme court and declaring victory by fiat?
That's what dear leader is expecting. It's worked for the last two GOP victories.
Fixed it.
Just like they're planning for the election.
Because step number one to having an arts scene is having affordable housing.
Although Deb's advice to apply for a PPP loan for the musical is seeming better and better. (And unfortunately, that opportunity is long gone.)
Maybe we can find an outdoor venue by this time next year?
And finally, two pro-surfers got on a catamaran and sail from Oahu to Kauai.
It's a foiler. They averaged 14 knots for 120 miles.
It took about 8 hours.
There were a few mishaps.
But they made it.
And then they turned around and sailed right back.
The guy who owns the cat is John John Florence. He doesn't look older than his early twenties.
He's done a lot of surfing. He actually lives on another catamaran, part time. It's a Gunboat.
That's a two million dollar yacht. It turns out John John is doing ok. A reminder, follow your passions, don't ignore your talents, and if you get a chance, enjoy your good fortune.
