196 yeah, I watched

The debate went about as expected.

There were some groundbreaking moments, like when dear leader asked white supremacists to "stand by" and his supporters to intimidate voters.

And the usual quoting conversations that never happened, like this one he had with some sort of Euro-elf.

A reminder, 57% of California forests are federally managed,  40% are privately owned, and 3% are managed by the state or local governments.

Meanwhile, in Napa, where there actually is a town called Forestville.

And while dear leader will spend his energy obsessing over how badly he was treated...

One of the truth bombs Joe dropped was that 1 in 1000 black Americans have died of Covid-19.

Infections had been going down after the fourth of July.

Then labor day happened.
And we're getting sick again.

But not in the 415.

Way to flatten the curve, baby. A reminder: the health of a civilization can be judged by the health of its most vulnerable citizens.

Like whales.

Off the coast of Spain, killer whales have been bumping sailboats.

My guess is someone on a boat did something nasty to them. Whales are fucking smart, and they talk to each other.

Time to get a faster boat?

More progess.
