Orangeneron
"Regeneron," said the orange man
Preaching from the Rose Garden
"Take my cure and you'll be done,
America is number one."
Standing back and looking forward
Can't see anything untoward
"They're the bullies," said the victim
Hanging on so we don't convict him
Unfairly treated, tweets deleted
The national treasury depleted
"A miracle in disguise," he lies
Awake at night watching the news
Reveling in the abuse
Imaging the noose
Getting tighter
Autoerotic asphyxiation
Jerks off with a nation
On its knees
Begging please
Come
Put that goop
All over my face
Craving humiliation,
Self-immolation, and
A government pension.
Cleaning up a few screencraps and loose thoughts from the past week. At top, a new poem. It's about time for me to compile all the poems I've written this year into a book. For 2020, I'm skipping the paperback version, and going straight to ebook. Why? It's the future.
After the debate, a cousin wanted to know what fracking is.
The spot where I grew up swimming, and my mom regularly sends me pictures as she gets her feet wet every afternoon.
There's a (probably false) story attached to this photo, of how this guy had no visitors in the hospital, but he used to feed pigeons nearby. It's much more charming than "oops, we left the window open and your husband got pooped on."
Could we give the whole thing a Covid twist by saying it's a photo of proper airflow in a hospital room?
Jupiter and Saturn were the first things visible in the night sky.
Speaking of stars, have you been feeling the days grow short?
Back to the whales.
Experts are weighing in.
They're either pissed that recreational boats are back after a very quiet spring, they're retaliating for something nasty done to them (there are only 45 orcas living near Spain, and they are smart and talk to each other, so yes, that is possible), or they are hungry and think sailboats are edible, or young and think boats are big beach balls.
At top top, a fire. The trucks arrived a few seconds later, and the smoke went from black to grey as water was applied.
And more progress. Maybe one more day. Maybe.
It's amazing how much of any job is foundational prep work you never notice in the end.
Enjoy your weekend!
