214 the sunset was lovely
Took a day trip up to Bethel Island yesterday. Got a ride, we wore masks and kept the windows open.
The air temps were in the nineties, the water was sixty-nine. A bit shocking to jump in, but you got used to it quickly.
The sunset was lovely.
With just a sliver of the new moon.
Dinner, too. Our social distance maybe collapsed a bit more than we noticed, but then we spaced it out again after.
And then it was time to say goodbye.
The stars were spectacular, here's Mars.
Meanwhile, we get another round of "lock her up."
Is it really that hard to envision the future?
And do something proactive? I guess a border wall is thinking ahead. China did that, too. Like a thousand years ago.
But seriously, what does thinking ahead look like?
Hmm... How about that, somebody has a plan!
Remember these faces? In hindsight, I think Amy Klobuchar won me over most of all.
No matter who wins this election, or steals it, this is still the plan.
It is crazy how recently our country was genociding and how much we've swept it under the flag.
Slowly, and not at all surely, as you know if you've ever been stuck behind one, self-driving is happening.
