Who knew Van Hagar was so deeply in my head?
Remember at the beginning of the pandemic, when I said this was going to come down to the red response and the blue response? Above is the distribution of the disease back in June. And below, now...
Over 50k new cases yesterday, but only 500 deaths. You know what that means? Last week of October, big crowds at rallies. Second week of November, big crowds in ICUs.
Meanwhile in China... You do the thing, and then you're done.

Dry air=floaty virus. Humidifiers, anyone?
This is a cell being attacked by Cov2. The outer layer, is, I think, basically a fatty membrane (lipids, they're called). The Cov2, like all coronaviruses, has spikes on the exterior that penetrate the lipid barrier. (Correct me in the comments if I'm wrong.) When we wash our hands with soap, we are targeting those spikes, which don't handle soap well.
Now here's a curious thing. We've found that when spacecraft fly far enough from the sun, they hit an area called the "heliopause."
It's basically the cell wall of our solar system. Inside, things are dominated by our sun and it's solar wind. Outside, things get more pressure from the rest of the universe's solar winds.
