After getting edged out of the governor's race in Georgia two years ago by voter suppression, Stacey Abrams went on a tear.


Her efforts to get out the vote are turning out to be critical to this election.

And make sure every vote is counted.

Where we're all learning that the soft spoken, patient approach hasn't totally lost it's charm.

It's not easy.

We might stutter a few times.

Some people really won't get it.

Like, really won't get it.

Like, really, really, not getting it...

There's nothing like saying "go to total war" over an election to make you feel like you're not in a "banana republic." (And Jr., what happened, we thought you liked all that safari fashion Banana Republic stuff.)

Somehow, we leaped right over banana republic and went straight to fundamentalist wack job.

What does our second ever catholic president-elect-ish have to say about it?

Not sure the guy who was vice president eight of the last twelve years represents change? Thinking most people actually were hoping for more of the same. Just a different more of the same. 

Like the type of more of the same that says, "oh, there's still a virus killing people." The more of the same that says, yes, reality is not going away.

Because ignoring it is clearly not working.

The most tested man in America may need to take a few days... Weeks... Months... Years... Off.

And we're not suggesting that the WH is like a porn set, but...

Guys, three weeks from now is going to be brutal.

Because although we've gotten better at fighting this disease...

It ain't close to "turning the bend..."
Just ask this guy.

Or these college students...

Thinking about that, yes, actually, we have made some great change in recent years.

On a totally unrelated vector, real estate fantasy. Here's an old brick warehouse for cheap. 3000 square feet! There's actually electricity, and maybe even plumbing.

This place is probably even older. It looks run down, but it's been around 2-300 years, so it will probably survive a few more.

The windows on the addition are what sucked me in.

Inside obviously needs work, but see those beams? That's the giveaway that this is a seriously old house.

The realtors staged this as a home gym, but I'm thinking bedroom or home office.

Finally, if you find yourself thinking, "they should arrest him when he's out of office," I beg you to reconsider. First, that's his line, "lock her up." Do you really want to sound like him? Second, it is setting a really bad precedent to jail your political opponents. Third, it will ruin any chances for his new show "The Pensioner." (Hit slogan: "I'm fired.")

Where to start? With a drip. Due to a recent large bill for two pieces of plastic pipe and a valve, I have become interested in learning more about pex plumbing. Like many things in the US, this more efficient way of doing things is having a slow takeoff.  Why? At top, a bicycle built for golf. Mid-drive, even. Kinda spendy at $7k, but this is golf. Apparently they're selling.  We're talking about Bikes and Batteries today. This is a, um, what was this?  Right, a swappable battery.  Sounds a lot like a dorado battery with a new design. Having uniform parts between different manufacturers will help us consumers. (Imagine if your car only worked with one brand of gasoline.) So this thinking is in the right direction-ish. Throw a golf bag holder on the front and they could charge more. ;) There's gold in them thar batteries. (Or at least some rare earth minerals.) The question is, how do we get them out, and then back in?  At least we can haul them about in this.  It's funny how some designs look bad while others look good. 469 who spiked the corona?

Omicron is here. In less than a month, it has gone from zero cases in the US, to 73% of cases as of this past weekend. At top is San Francisco, below is New York State. The good news is, if you're vaccinated, you might not get too sick. The bad news is, there's a pretty good chance we're all going to get sick in this one. Here's NYC, where you can see omicron is making the curve from March 2020 look small. Or else, lockdown. I'm not a doctor, or an expert. Here's what I've picked up about omicron: 1. It is more transmissible . At least twice as easily spread as the Delta variant of SARS-CoV-2. They say it's on the level of measles, the most easily spread virus we know. 2. It seems to have borrowed some tricks from the common cold.
