241 who do you think is going to fix it all?

About those killer whales playing with sailboats off Spain...

Here's the culprit. I wonder if Gladis White knows how much PR he is getting for his species? They're very smart.

That gash on his forehead probably came from a propellor. Apparently in addition to this endangered species learning to steal over-fished, increasingly rare tuna off a fishing line, they have come to enjoy the rush of water coming off a propellor.

Now that they've learned yachts are really just oversized beach balls, scientists are attempting to get boaters to understand they're not under attack.

Ah, language.

Framing really, really matters. For instance, why are the orcas even interested in boats at all?

Working on my astrology column, I'm attempting to wrap my head around how the planets around us move

Yeah yeah, we go around the sun, but after that, it gets complicated. See, the sun is actually moving.

Then there are the elliptical orbits of the planets, corkscrewing around the sun. It's all very DNA-like.

Which is a long way of saying, I still don't quite grasp retrogrades. I mean, I know what happens, other planets appear to move backwards from our Point of View, but I haven't had that aha! moment yet where I really get it.

Like that moment when the planet wobbled a few more degrees, causing another precession of the stars, bringing us, as remarked by Moses in his anti-bull speech,  from the age of Taurus into the age of Aries, and then 2000 years later, into the age of Pisces?

Age of aquarius, next stop.

We might get there quicker in one of these.

My mom was the first person to alert me to the possibilities of evacuated tube travel. Elon and Branson have both gotten into it.

Joe, you listening?

And now back to the pandemic.

Not necessarily because anyone caught Cov2 there, but because the county went back into the red.

For now, it's "recommend."

Because unfortunately, it's looking like things are about to get all shelter-in-placey again.

Once again, deaths lag behind infections by a few weeks.

Behrand Joost was one of the first Euros to build a house in our neighborhood.

He ran a water company based on the spring in that thicket behind the house, which is now the corner of Clayton and Corbett. How bucolic is this picture? Geez!

Same view, now. Traffic engineers have had their way.

Finally, three tough questions.

How exactly did patriotism and hatred get aligned?

Which administrations have robbed us the most?

And who do you think is going to fix it all?
