242 each time our blood pressure rises, an oligarch stuffs another benjamin into his g-string

Twin Peaks Boulevard has been gated to cars since not-too-long into the pandemic.

All the city's parks seem more popular since people replaced commuting with exercising, but Twin Peaks is a special case.

Previously, it was only accessible by foot or bike by walking along the side of the road. (Yes, there are a couple trails, but most are not official.)

But since they closed the streets to traffic, it's gotten really popular. It's turned from a place people from out of town drive to in order to see the view, to a place locals are enjoying, top to bottom.

Pretty much everyone agrees this is an improvement. Now the question is, how to make it ADA compliant. My hope is we find a way other than reopening it to traffic.

Last night on the new moon we feasted out the old, and in the new.

From a friend in St. Louis. I'll take this as a sign that goggles are ok flying fashion.

On the other side of Missouri...

Here's a localized version of the whole maker/taker debate.

How's that vaccine coming?

It takes two doses to get immunized-ish.

Meaning, maybe 1 in 7 Americans will have a shot by next winter.

And 80% of the global population won't.

Before we panic too much about the "coup," let's remember this is, by and large, a mediated experience for most of us.

We see a zoom lens image and it makes our hearts clench.

We see bearded men with guns on the streets of the capitol, and panic.

And each time our blood pressure rises, some oligarch stuffs another benjamin into their g-string.

Finally, my mom wants you to watch this.
