The answer is, no.
That's right. No. None.
Personally, I have been enjoying meeting up with people outside on a limited basis the whole pandemic. Why? Because I'm pretty sure it's safe.
So where is the new rule coming from? Where, as they say, is the data?
My guess is that the health officials know that an outdoor gathering can become an indoor gathering when two or more people happen to, say, run to the kitchen and bathroom, then pause to pet the cats or whatever. But apparently we just haven't been tracking this stuff?
And initially, we needed clear guidance that told us this is really risky stuff.
But really, what are the risks?
And is a ban the best way to get a reluctant public to deal with the danger? "Just say no" has a fabulous history of failure.
Meanwhile, in Florida, where they really, really don't want data about all this.

Traffic in Vietnam. Looks disorganized to our western eye, but really, it feels very organic.
It's light enough and they put enough solar panels on it that you can drive 40 miles a day with just sun power. (Plus some conflict minerals.)

Can you tell I talked to my mom this week? She is a bit worried that this new book on religion may leave out all the wonderful aspects of spirituality and community. Actually, it left out all the details. And they say god is in the details, so if you're looking for more words from the big man...
