268 who are the savages?
How was your day yesterday? There's big stuff happening in Astrology right now, leading up to the conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter next week.
Personally, I've been feeling the past couple weeks like things are coming unstuck. Managed to get thru a couple tasks yesterday which had been bugging me. One was finding a home for this new comic I've been working on.
It may wind up on Amazon eventually, too, but for right now it's free on blogger, with ad support coming soon. On the left, our current Rt is 1.5. If we can't get it below one, they're expecting 500 more Covid-19 deaths in the city in the next three months.
Below 1, where we've been most of the pandemic, and that number would be 70.
This chart was made last week. Two days ago should be number 3. And yesterday is the new number 5 or 6.

There's actually another round-the-world race right now, on Ultima trimarans, The Jules Verne Trophy.
These are currently the fastest sailboats around the planet. But they're also big, fickle, expensive things. Two started out, it's down to one right now, they're less than two hundred miles ahead of the old record pace, and losing ground.
Those trimarans are fully crewed, and only a few days faster around the globe than the Imoca 60s in the Vendee Globe.
File under: who are the savages?
