303 Not that average is bad, but I don't want to dwell there forever
Leading with art. Took the tablet along on my walk yesterday morning.
I set out before dawn, thinking I might catch some cute victorians in the sunrise.
Problem is, somehow, art wants to wait until you're on the way home to happen.
So the sun was pretty well up by the time I got here.
Then I waded into painting something new. The results are ok, maybe a little lacking in depth.
But I'm kinda distraught by how, um, average it looks. The composition might be my eye, but the rest of it could be pretty much anybody.
Not that average is bad, but I don't want to dwell there forever.
Tough to tell the difference between these last two, but there is one. Every art piece is shaped by the technology used to make it. Brushes create a very handmade quality, figuring out how to do that in digital is challenging. Part of it is the size of the canvas. Quality drawing is done with the arm, not the hand.

Man, there is so much heat in e-mobility right now. I love it.
This is French. It's a motorcycle, not a bicycle. But I really like that they stuck with simpler aesthetics, and it's half the weight of other electric motorcycles, which means you can get more performance out of less stuff. It also costs about $7k, which is not cheap.
And here's that new Sondors in better light. It's about twice as heavy, but it's highway capable (they both are, actually) and only...$5k. New.
That seat looks good for about 20 minutes, tho.

Perhaps maybe you've noticed the pandemic?
Hmm... Let's see... How long can we go on burning through more resources than Earth can renew?
Well, how was that for a segue?
3. Bankrupt. But at least we have some cheap flags made in China with his name on them.
There's that name again. Guys, dear leader is an obvious bad guy, but when the history books close on the 21st century, GWB43 and R40 will be right there at the top of the list of ne'er-do-wells.
Although I guess it's a lot easier for the average 'merican to connect bad-guy-thoughts with a half million dead Americans than a million plus dead middle-easterners.
