357 Pete Buttigieg on a bike!
Walking down to the Farmer's Market, I saw this restaurant has added a roof to it's outdoor space. Lots of the parklets have roofs, but something about this space, attached to the building, reminded me of restaurants we saw in Rome a couple years ago. I like it.
When Deb suggested we go to Europe I was initially hesitant. I'm not into polluting. But I have to admit, seeing those other places and enjoying the food really did educate me.
One of my big takeaways from Rome was putting less toppings on your pizza. I'm still working on my restraint.
The history and architecture was pretty interesting, too.
A reminder, you don't need a gym membership to get exercise. Or even a bootcamp. Just put away your embarrassment and start carrying a parking curb around. You will be huge, and you will get looks, and nobody will say shit, because you are ripped and carrying a big concrete stick.
Riding a bike is also an excellent way to get incidental exercise.
Guys, I can't tell you how huge this picture is. It's like, my favorite picture of the year. Maybe longer.
That's our secretary of transportation riding a bicycle! A share bicycle! To work! (Well, maybe home from work.)
Who cares if it's a grandstanding stunt. To even have someone in the room who is even slightly thinking about something other than cars is fucking ridiculously huge.
I grew up with a birdfeeder. My mom still has one and enjoys it. Unfortunately, they are feeding wildlife. And feeding wildlife is a no-no. It creates dependency, and short circuits nature. And, in the Bay Area right now, birdfeeders are also spreading disease.
See, when one sick bird shows up at the feeder, it gets all the other birds sick. Deb picked up a dead bird in a garden yesterday.
So, if you enjoy watching birds, do them a favor and take down your bird feeder?
We've watched the crown, then we watched the interview.
The desire to control one's image in the eyes of others is apparently more important than being set for life.
Look at this cute picture of my mom and grand parents. My grandfather passed away when my mom was twelve. I can see my brother has his eyes and mouth.
My mom pretty much still looks the same.
Be safe.
