366 personal stories

Still in lockdown, still daily. For now. There are rumors we're headed toward Orange next week, but I'm going to call the end of this green. For now.

April 5th, when we get our second jab will also be a big one. And eighteen days after that, the 23rd, when they say the full protection of the vaccine will have kicked in.

Going back through the old entries isn't super easy. I made it through ten yesterday. Only 355 to go.

First, I had to download an app to allow me to cut and paste on the tablet. I know, it sounds ridiculous, but I couldn't get the thing to copy something off a browser and into docs more than once, without needing to restart the apps. I looked it up online, and nobody can. So much for Samsung's Dex productivity mode. No copying and pasting?

Fortunately, this seems to have been happening for a while, and there are aftermarket "clipboard" apps.

Then I have to actually read them, and think about the content. What will resonate with a reader with 20/20 hindsight?

Basically, I'm finding it's the personal stories. The statistics and rants about politics, eh. Some of that stuff, maybe. But mostly the interesting bits are my personal observations.

Which is fine, lots of that math stuff was just coping. Trying to be informed.

So maybe I'll get better at editing, but for right now, it's a bit of a drag. Or maybe I should be getting help?

Bleh.

Traffic sucks.

Guess I need to think about Bart next time I go visiting in the East Bay. (So, around August, at this rate.)

At top, a psychic once told Deb for our relationship to work, she needed to understand that sometimes she would want to get out of the car while I wanted to stay inside.
