423 taking it easy

Let's see here. Not thinking too hard today. But lots of screencraps to catch up on.

If you've got $40 million, my favorite beach in Tiburon is up for sale. I've camped here a few times in the dinghy, I thought it was park.

The beach is mostly below the waterline, so whoever buys this previously untouched slice of heaven can fuck off if they try to kick anyone out.

As parklets move toward permanency, and more bars and restaurant reopen, the land rush continues, and the styles of shackitecture are diversifying.

This twisty roof is pretty neat.

This tiny bar probably tripled it's seating with these railroad ties. They're pretty substantial, which is important because...

This is also happening. Yikes!

File under: local theater

I guess we know where the SF Opera draws it's patrons from. $50 a head, to watch from your car. And I can guarantee they did not break even.

Meanwhile, my contact on Fisherman's Wharf says no dinner theater until we're at 100% indoor capacity.

We'll see. I'm personally not opposed to a tent on a wharf. Anyone know anyone on the city's arts commission?

Well, I guess we'll get there when we get there.

Full disclosure: I bought some dogecoin. It's gone up and down since I bought it, but mostly down. It seems like Ethereum classic and Bitcoin cash were the winners the past couple weeks.

For now, though, I'm diamond hands.

I used Kraken, which is also based in SF, because Coinbase doesn't do Doge. But this makes a good segue toward...

Empty offices. Splunk had, I think, about four thousand people downtown.

People say Mayor Breed is a shoe-in for reelection. I guess we're ready for the city to head in a new direction.

Because she nailed it!

Confidence is a nice thing in leadership.

Hopefully...

Peace out. More catching up tomorrow!
