446 in transit
Yesterday was a transition, and I don't have a lot to say about it. In the future, I think I need to learn to take days off from this.
But not yet.
The other day Deb and I had a conversation about what we'd do if we spotted an alligator near us.
The answer is, get a little closer so you can get a better photo.
Whoever made this sign was probably thinking about equality. Equal representation. But the results are funny. They turned a pandemic into a sixth grade dance.
Airport design must be really hard. None of the airports I went through yesterday were convenient. But here's a little note for SFO: one of the easiest ways to satisfy customers is by giving them clear expectations of the service they will receive. If you have a monitor saying your automated tram runs every four minutes, don't make customers wait fifteen minutes in your drafty, no walls station. You only piss them off. I know how to tell time. Instead, tell me the next tram is in X minutes, and maybe give an alternative, like how long it would take to walk.
Anyway, made it home.
